SHiP is delighted to announce its SHiP Landlord & Commissioner Event ‘Better Together’, bringing together social landlords, commissioners and key agencies such as NHF, LGA, National Care Forum and Homeless Link.

The event will be opened by Donna Kelly Group Director, Neighbourhoods and Support Jigsaw Homes, Alistair Smyth Director of Policy & Research National Housing Federation and Charli Fudge Local Government Association.

Sue Lewis of Together Housing will introduce a ‘good practice in commissioning’ session where we will hear presentations from

·       Stockport’s new SHIP Team (Supported Housing Improvement programme) and from

·       Rotherham Council highlighting their good practice in involving all agencies in the commissioning of services.

Delegates will spend time identifying challenges, solutions and our hopes for the future of supported housing.  And the day will end with a drinks/afternoon tea reception for some networking and downtime after, what we expect to be a busy day.
